Helping entrepreneurs simplify their business to scale

Entrepreneurs like you tell me they often find themselves wearing multiple hats. They are exhausted by the endless tasks that keep them busy, not productive. I tired from taking one step forward and two steps backs. They are tired of sacrificing their peace and sanity.

Even though they have experienced success, they struggle with getting to the next level in their business.

The Girl Behind The Brand:

I launched LuxeGiving at 30 years old upon leaving corporate America to find happiness. Four years into starting LuxeGiving and feeling like there was never enough time in the day. I was hosting events, making sales calls, billing, and marketing. The overwhelm left me maxed at 25 events a month. Along the way, I had to learn how to tackle the systems and mindset obstacles getting in the way.

My goal was to build a business in 10 major cities. I found myself traveling between 5 states to host events. It sounds fun until you realize expansion would be impossible with this current system. Working hard did not bother me. Yet, entrepreneurship was not looking how I had imagined. I was missing family functions, battling anxiety, and fun with friends. I thought hustling would make me hit my goals faster. It became crystal clear that I was holding back the business.

Create simple systems for the business you aim to build

Your problem is rooted in reactive systems compared to proactive. To scale a business, you have to create a duplicatable structure and systems intentionally. The reality is your system is either propelling you forward or backward.

You are here because you are in the same place that I was over six years ago. You have concluded that something needs to change. Simplifying your system and doing less can excel your business.

Once I created my system, LuxeGiving was able to grow to a multiple six-figure business annually. We had customers in 7 different cities. The system allowed me the freedom to prioritize the importance of family and my sanity.

Simplifying your business works!

It’s impacts efficiency, productivity, and overall growth. Simplifying your business produces sustainable development and systems. Simplifying your business helps grow your team, business, and revenue. Focus more on the right things compared to twenty things holding you back.

My Background

I grew up in Washington, DC, and finished college at Pennsylvania State University. I graduated with a B.A in Business Management with a Hospitality Minor.

Throughout my college years, I worked as a florist, waitress, and customer service. My plus-size modeling career started with features in Essence Magazine to QVC. My experiences in print, runway, and editorial helped with building my confidence and understanding of business. Often, I would say that modeling came from treating it as a job, not a hobby.

Experiences and relationships gained in modeling guided the steps to starting Luxegiving. I stumbled across entrepreneurship through overcoming various adversities and a desire for something more in life. In 2011, I found a new purpose around creating community and environments where people felt important. I started LuxeGiving out of a passion for making a difference. With over eight years of experience in the industry, I have supported all management companies' sizes with unique ideas to help ease the stress around resident engagement.

A FEW FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:

  • I’m the oldest of 6 siblings. I think that I’m the least likely to get a PHD out of the group. LOL. I love reading and learning. I’m not really a school kind of person.

  • I love to cook. In high school, I started doing food competitions and culinary arts courses. I loved learning about culinary arts and techniques. Despite my true love for the art, I never wanted to really be a chef.

  • My parents named me after my father and removed the “s” to make Jese more feminine. In reality, it just confused people more on how to say the name. I do appreciate the different name now. I think it was a destined name for uniqueness.

  • I love tiny homes. I would love to travel the world and visit tiny homes. I love embracing different cultures, foods and experiences. I can only imagine waking up to a beautiful sunset on the horizons in New Zeeland.

  • I lost my mother to terminal brain cancer. Despite the difficulty around caregiving, the experience with my mom was valuable. I learned to embrace the time given not things that won’t matter later on.

  • I find peace around the water. Ponds, beaches, lakes and etc. are extremely calming. The perfect evening is a picnic near the lake.

  • I believe life is about experiences that fill your heart with joy. It’s free and can be found in abundance. We just have to look for it.
